Quality of Education and Student Life Index

Our mission is to establish Quality of Education and Student Life as a global metric for school success. We believe a standardized measure of student life is overdue in our education system and seek your support in prioritizing student wellness measures. Our goal for this instrument is to provide metrics for the student experience that can be measured alongside academic performance and other indicators of school success (attendance, graduation rate, student:teacher ratio). To do so, our research team identified several major statistics that represent the student experience, and developed the Quality of Education and Student Life Index (QESLI).

QESLI is a 35-item assessment that measures 7 major statistics: quality of academic experience, quality of non academic experience, quality of school relationships, quality of school environment, quality of personal development, quality of skill development, quality of professional development.

At this phase, we are conducting the third validation study for the QESLI. The data from this study will be used to assess consistency, reliability, and dimensionality, and will be used to determine the strength of the questions asked. No names will be used.

Thank you for your participation in this study. Your 15m helps pave the way for systemic change and accountability in the education system, and supports the prioritization of student wellbeing.
